I placed an order with Quill.com. I was lured to this website with a very good deal. There was an offer of cashback through the *********** Chrome extension and a site promo code. I was able to make the purchase where the unit was almost half price. I was skeptical, so I was careful as to what information I provided, however I still provided a credit card. After receiving a confirmation email, I waited. A couple of days later, I went back on the site and there was no record of my order. Not even a record with a cancelation status. I contacted them and they just stated it was canceled. No reasoning provided. They now have my information, without providing any relevant details on issues with my order. I believe this site has a phishing scam aspect, where they lure customers in to get there data, then cancel their orders.Business response

It was suggested to me that I open an account with Quill in order to build credit for my business. I applied for their NET30 Terms and was approved. I placed a small order and received confirmation that it was received. I signed up for a free 90 day trial for their rewards program, which provides free next day shipping. I was told I would receive shipping confirmation once the item was shipped. After a few days of not receiving confirmation, I decided the check the order. However, the order was gone. No orders placed in the last 90 days. I figured I did something wrong and made another order. Same thing. My orders are just disappearing. Even my free trial for their rewards program keeps disappearing. There is no trace of anything I place or do on my account. I reached out to the support team, and was told I would receive a response in 24 business hours. I never received a response. Meanwhile, my orders kept just vanishing with no trace of them. I reached out yet again and was told I needed to contact the credit department. I am not looking for credit. I was already approved and my order is below my approved limit. I want to know why my orders are vanishing, and why no one is contacting me if there is an issue. I am supposed to rely on this company in the 4th quarter when 75% of my yearly revenue is made?Business response

I have place three orders with this company (Quill.com) for office paper and have received none. Nobody can tell me why and they keep "escalating" my request which does not solve the problem. I cannot reach the shipping company they used, ************, I have never heard of them. I placed an order in August, was supposed to be delivered in two weeks. It was never received so I call and they told me my order had been cancelled. I reordered it, and again 2 weeks later my order gets cancelled again. No explanation from the phone **** I just told them to cancel the order all together.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I have already placed a completed order a few months ago. I was not notified of any need for documents nor was I informed as to why my second order, and then reorder for the second order was cancelled. What documentation is needed? Why was this information not verified when I created the quill account and submitted my EIN.

I have spent hours with Quill on phone as well as with head person on accounts. I ordered office supplies 7/30/2024. I didnt get the case of copy paper and called back. I did get part of my order. I paid for my order immediately. They cancelled that order and the lady said shed order the paper again. But she put the entire order in again! And I never received the second order! I didnt want a double order of supplies. The second order was never delivered and they keep sending me a bill for $199.00 to pay for the order I never made. I already paid for the first order. They even show the second order was never delivered but they wont remove it. Instead of trying to help me they pass it on to someone else. Its a real simple concept. But they argue with me about it and have no desire to try to solve the issue. I have been a customer with them for years. Im done! Ill never shop at Quill again. ********************* was no help and this person is supposed to be over accounts. No one does anything!Business response

The last two orders I have made with Quill did not arrive. The shipping company that they use does not follow instructions and there is no way to reach them. I have requested that my orders should be delivered by *** or any company besides Lasership. Quill does not want to cooperate to get my orders delivered to me.Business response

Please see emails attached and photos attached. I purchased a dresser which was ****** come to find out this dresser is only $60 on Amazon. I canceled my next order and let quill know why I was unsatisfied and **** let me know he would match the price and fix the problem. Ever since I have received emails that are like bots or something making me prove the item then trying to sell me the item (again) like that arent even aware of whats going on.Business response

I was trying to get in contact with someone about my account and there customer service was so horrible I reported them so someone can contact me. They did and it was not what I expected. They told me my address wasn't verified the same address that Ive been receiving items at. My credit was lowered I had 3 customer service agents tell me it was 1200 4 different times and I was recently emailed and told me it was 300. I think they lowered it because of me reporting there customer service agents . Who actually told me to just deal with it until someone calls me. This is so sickening a business can do there customer like this.Business response

An error on our side caused us to increase ************** credit line higher than D&B reporting supported. Reducing his credit line back to $300 was made to correct our error. In response to his concerns, our Credit Supervisor replied to him we welcome customers to file reports. It helps us focus on troubled areas we need to work on. The limit was based on the spending habits and the information found on your DNB file. This is the same action we would have taken to make the best decision for our bottom line.Initial Complaint

Several years ago, a sales representative from Quill Office products came to my office and pitched me on Quill's membership program. The Membership was initially pitched as a one-time payment...which it is not. The issue became that year after year my **** was charged for a membership renewal fee automatically. In order to stop the endless cycle, I pulled my credit card information from my account and informed them that I wanted to CANCEL my "subscription" with Quill. A few months later I get an invoice from Quill for another membership fee. I responded that I had CANCELLED my membership. That evidently means nothing to this company.......forward six months until today.......I am STILL getting harassed with DELINQUENT BALANCES notices and collection phone calls. I have made no less than FOUR requests to terminate my membership and ALL communication with me. Yet in continues.......I DO NOT owe QUILL for any products or services....I am absolutely astounded by the company's inability to STOP trying to collect on a nonexistent charge. I thought they were a reputable firm, but I would not buy anything for QUILL now if it was free! I have maintained perfect credit for 35 years and the thought of an organization like QUILL having the ability to jeopardize my credit infuriates me.Business response
