      On October 4, 2024, at 9:49 AM, I was contacted by the local supervisor, ****, who requested additional pictures, which I promptly sent. However, I have yet to receive a response. On October 11, 2024, at 3:55 PM, I texted **** to inform him that I would be filing a police report regarding the incident and seeking legal counsel to pursue this matter in small claims ******** insurance provider has indicated that, without acknowledgment of fault from Take 5 Car Wash, the claim will be deemed at fault on my part. I am documenting all communications, including texts, video, pictures, and complaints, to support my case as I move forward with legal proceedings.I regret that it has come to this, but I can no longer rely on Take 5 Car Wash to act responsibly in this situation. I will ensure that all relevant materials are forwarded for legal resolution.

      After speaking with the new site manager he stated that there was missing information on the customer intake form. Therefore,, the site manager could not submit the claim until missing information was retrieved.

      I am rejecting this response for the following reasons:

       

      If this were a professional business, their claims process would have been efficient enough to avoid the need for this step altogether.

       

      Additionally, there is a serious issue with the competency of their management team. It has been excuse after excuse about what they plan to do, always after the fact.

       

      For instance, why didnt their employees complete the form correctly? This reflects a lack of proper training, which falls on the company and its management. I had provided all of my information on the form, so why did the local site management fail to respond to my follow-up communication?

       

      I have no confidence in this response, and my insurance company has the necessary evidence to pursue this matter further. I would also like my experience to remain visible on the Better Business Bureau website to warn others to avoid this business at all costs.

      I entered the car wash located at ******************************************************************************* on May 25th, 2024. An employee scanned my credit card saying the machine was acting up. I did not request a membership (I live in eastern ** and only passing through). I was not provided an RFID and one is required to submit an online form for the car wash web page. I have not been able to reach a live person at the phone number listed for the location or corporate headquarter and neither has the northern Alabama Better Business Bureau. My credit card has been billed $27.00 each month on the 25th since. ************** is headquartered in ********* and is why I am submitting a complaint for that location as well.

      I came to this Take 5 Car Wash to vacuum my car because of their advertised free vacuums and an employee came up to me to ask me if I was coming to get a car wash otherwise I can't use their vacuums. So l go inside to ask the manager what was the problem with me using their advertised free vacuums and they said because we have a business to run and we can't just have people come here and use our advertised free vacuums without getting a car wash. I GET A CAR WASH ALL THE TIME I just didn't feel like it this time. And so l asked why are they advertised as free then? And they said they're not free, they're "free with a car wash" so I said ok well Ill go continue to vacuum my car with your advertised free vacuums and they said no you're not I'm turning your vacuum off, calling the cops on you and trespassing you for using our advertised free vacuums. Ive spent plenty of money here but theyre saying they have a business to run when 3/4 of their vacuums werent working and this is how you treat a customer? Im filing a complaint for falsely advertising their business to make more customers come, when their advertising is wrong and misleading.

      Yes, I was able to get ahold of ******** on Monday, she was very understanding and courteous when I called. She was afraid of being trespassed from the location but I made sure she was aware this was not the case. I have spoken with ****** about the situation and how to mitigate situations like this moving forward.

      I purchased a monthly unlimited wash package. I was very happy with that month.When I signed up I was told that I would recieve a call, confirming that I wanted to move forward with the unlimited wash subscription. And that my charge card would not be charged without my permission which I would grant on the phone call. It sounded fine.I did not recieve a phone call, so I figured that my subscription was not going forward. My intention was to have unlimted cars washes several months out of the year, but not every month.While out of the country my card was charged for 2 months. I never gave verbal commiment as communicated to me by the Take 5 employee.I have jumped through hoops with refund forms, off shore customer service and other representatives of the company with no success.****** has chosen not to accept responsibility for their employee's statement. I do not know if a call is truly part of their service process, but it is what I was told. If the employee made a mistake, it is the companys responsibility.I have since followed Take 5's process to cancel my subscription, that I never gave permission.I did pay for the first month and meant to pay for that month. The car wash is good, not great but really good.

      It has been 2 weeks and counting, I have not heard anything and I won't be calling anyone other than my insurance company to file a complaint and claim on your company. Due to the lack of communication and willness to correct/fix the scratching on my vehicle, as mentioned the car wash stop during our wash, my car was stuck in the tunnel and the Blue strips continued swinging which caused damage to the paint of the hood of my 2023 ***** car on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 @ 5:45 pm. I need ******* manager or whomever to give me a call again before 5pm CST. Thanks!

      Reached out to our customer after doing investigation on our customers concern, I have attached vehicle image showing vehicle nice and clean with no damage on the area our customer was concerned about nothing in our tunnel caused any damage to vehicle. I have reached out to our customer and she was very nice and understanding also stated that she wasn't sure it actually happened at the carwash but it was worth a try. If you could kindly remove this report from BBB report to not affect our business please and Thank you

      I've emailed and tried to contact this business at least 10 times to refund me my car wash subscription of $27 that I initially signed up for online, but later that same day, I actually did it in person. So I signed up twice and still have not received my refund and/or nobody has reached out to me at all to say this issue has been resolved.

      Cancelled my subscription in May 2023. Company continued to take payment. Beginning in August 2033 I called, emailed, filled out the form they sent. Over 1 year later, the charge is still being deducted from my account.

      Your Monthly Unlimited Membership 10014844 has been deactivated and your credit card will no longer be charged for renewal. I would be happy to process a refund for the amount of $377.86. Unfortunately your credit card cannot be used for this refund. Either it is no longer on file or the Point of Sale system at this location does not allow for refund via credit card.

      We have two options for you to receive your refund:

      If you would like the refund deposited directly into your account, we need the Information below. 

      1. A Voided check copy showing your name and bank account info.   (Best Option)
       
      2. An ACH document from your bank showing the account information and your name.

      On July 18 at ******************************************* my car was damaged by the take 5 car wash when a $90 weather stripping on the roof (newer un-previously damaged 2022 ****** Tacoma) was destroyed by the wash while in the wash. I was told to wait for the manager for 30 minutes before it was revealed they werent working that day later and the employees took my name phone number and message and told me to wait for the next week when a manager returned from vacation. Two weeks pass and no contact. Any attempt to call is hung up on or ignored. I report through the take 5 customer care chat system on their website and am informed to go back to the store and file a damage claim which I do. Over a month passed and no response, calls to the wash are again ignored. Go back to the customer care online system and am told theyll contact the district manager to respond to me. Another month passes. Go back to the customer care online chat and am ignored for 12 days. Am currently trying again on their website and am getting no responses.

They have not responded to me at all nor have they cancelled my membership. I want a full refund and my membership cancelled.

      I have a monthly plan for 3 vehicles at the location Take 5 car wash in *******, La. *****. on numerous occasions this month including today during working hours the location has been closed. The vacuum cleaner hose most of them are broken. I have some questions on my bill. I complained to the manager and she said she has only been manager for 3 days and is very frustrating with the work and complaints , I asked her how can I make a complaint to the main office and she gave me a phone number ************* , this number is the wrong number because I could not make a complaint. I ******* how to complain and I have attempted to contact Take 5 to make a complaint with no response from Take 5.

      I see the complaint is regarding a $76.16 charge.  This appears to have been for an oil change at Take 5 Oil Change. 

      We are Take 5 Car Wash.  Similar names, however we are not they. We must refer you to Take 5 Oil Change for your resolution as we do not have access to any of their records.
