I had been receiving treatments in ** for laser hair removal to two body areas since 5/13/2021. During this time I was at a location that was accessible and they mentioned that when I was to move back home, there would be a location nearby that I could use. However, that is not the case and I don't have access to get treatments anymore because I had to move home due to circumstances and have not been going in for treatments. Therefore, I tried to request that my services be discontinued and that I am no longer charged for the plan because I am not getting treatment anymore, and haven't been for a couple of months and still getting charged. I have tried to contact them about my situation but there has been no solution to this issue. I would just like to discontinue from now on and not be charged.Business response

Ms. ***** became a client of Milan Laser Hair Removal on 5/13/21 when she participated in a free consultation. At the conclusion of the consultation, Ms. ***** decided to purchase laser hair removal. Their choice of payment was through a down payment to Milan with reoccurring payments to Milan and reoccurring payments to ****. In our purchase agreement with Ms. *****, they signed and agreed to all sales being final and scheduled her first treatment. On 7/13/22 Milan Laser was informed that Ms. ***** filed a complaint with the BBB. A member of Milan's management team spoke with Ms. *****, and found that she was relocating to an area without a clinic. At this time, it was determined to refund Ms. ***** for the treatments they have not yet received. At Milan, we pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service, and delivering exceptional laser hair removal results. Our results are guaranteed and customer satisfaction is our priority. In January i went into milan for a consultation. i felt as if i was pressured into picking a package because it was "the last day to get it at this price". I explained ************** my hair grows on my face and i want it gone. She said within 2-3 treatments it would be gone and i could tell a difference. Fast forward july my hair is thicker, grows fast, and i can tell no difference since starting. i called milan and was told unfortunately i cannot do anything about it and they would speak to the medical team to see what else needs to be done. I just want to stop paying all of this money $****** a month for results which i am not seeing. i started lasering to stop hair growth but it has only gotten worse. At this point i don't even care to get a refund on the treatments i had i would just like to get out of this contract or whatever it is. At my last appointment i was told i should be at a 70% hair loss. i am no where even near 5%. This was the worst money scam i have ever seen.Business response

At the conclusion of that consultation, client purchased laser hair removal package in the amount of $******* Client had total of 4 treatments. On 7/14/22 client contacted clinic and requested cancellation of package due to lack of results. Client was offered services of medical team to advise but requested cancellation. Partial refund in the amount of $******* was submitted on 7/15/22. I was notified of BBB complaint but our Customer Resolution team had already processed refund so there was no need for me to intervene. I went to Milan Laser for a consultation. It went well, I was given options and informed about filling out financing paperwork. It was approved and it was set. I canceled my initial appointment the next day due to work conflicts. A few weeks later, I get a call about scheduling again. I told the salesperson, that I was canceling because I couldn't afford it due to a change in finances. ************************************************************, so I was no longer in the position to get or pay for services. I was told because my loan was funded and it's a medical procedure that there is nothing they can do. I refuse to pay for services, I didn't receive and cannot afford, which is why I asked to cancel. They offered me a lower package. I just want the financing sent back and contract canceled.Business response

At the conclusion of the consultation, Ms. ***** decided to purchase laser hair removal on multiple areas. Her choice of payment was through reoccurring monthly payments to **************, a third party lender. In our purchase agreement with Ms. *****, she signed and agreed to all sales being final and then scheduled her first series of treatments on all areas on 6/27/22. On 7/11/22, Milan was informed that Ms. ***** filed a complaint with the BBB. Our Regional Sales Manager (RSM) reached out to Ms. ***** to discuss her concerns. During this conversation Ms. ***** shared that she had financial changes that are conflicting with her laser hair removal package. Our RSM offered Ms. ***** options to keep one area, but ultimately Ms. ***** determined she needed to cancel all areas. Our RSM submitted a full refund to be processed. At Milan, we pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service, and delivering exceptional laser hair removal results. Our results are guaranteed and customer satisfaction is our priority. The staff were very friendly however I was pressured to sign up for the unlimited package with a 36 month payment plan without giving me adequate time to read through the contract or have it looked at through a loaning company. Soon after leaving the facility, I came to realize that there is no way I could afford the treatment. I've contacted them privately to ask to cancel this package due to the fact that if I were to continue, I would be in financial hardship. I never received treatment, and even payed a small down-payment which I am not asking a refund for on. I simply want to cancel my package and have the loan money refunded to the company.I went in for a consultation on June 25th. On 7/6/22, Milan was informed that Ms. ****** filed a complaint with the BBB. Our Regional Sales Manager (RSM) reached out to Ms. ****** to discuss her concerns, but could not reach her. Our RSM has made multiple attempts via phone, email and SMS to reach Ms. ****** to discuss her concerns. While we have still been unable to reach Ms. ******, we are hopeful she will contact us back to ensure we can resolve her concerns. I got a package with Milan about a year ago I have been doing consistent treatment staying out of the sun and I still have a full beard full of facial hair coming back & even worse my cheek hair that was just peech fuzz is now ALL dark bc they told me to shave it off. And I mean I shave in the morning by night ALL the hair is back this Lazer has really done nothing the consisten shaving is the only Time I have smooth skin. My back which we deemed "finished" two weeks later is full of hair again. ******************************************************************************************* and I was worried I was stuck like this forever ************************************************************** and I felt pressured into signing up I thought the first treatment was just free and I'd have time to think but they told me I'd have to pay double if I didn't do it right then ****************************************** I thought I have to this is my dream to not have manly hair. So I did it. I was hopeful but here I am with a full face of hair unless I shave it off. Same with my underarms and lower back and my stomach I've never even been able to tell anything was done. I wish to void my contract bc I am FAR FROM satisfied and Milan is supposed to be satisfaction guaranteed. That's too much money to still have all the same hair I started with i am highly upset and feel like I was sold a dream.Business response

I went in for a consultation on June 25, 2022. While the service staff were very friendly, they pressured me to sign up for the package with a 36-month payment plan without giving me adequate time to read through the contract or have it looked at. She rushed through the process and made me feel like I had to sign up right then and there. Upon realizing that there is no way for me to afford this treatment, I called the same day to cancel or at least get a different package as continuing would put me in significant financial hardship. The manager was sympathetic but then said "that there was nothing she could do. This is causing me a lot of stress and I really need Milan Laser to cancel my contract as I can currently not afford it. They also did not inform me that we had to sign a loan first, they said it was a soft credit check and nothing else expect please fill this out.Business response

At the conclusion of the consultation, Ms. ******* decided to purchase laser hair removal on multiple areas. In our purchase agreement with Ms. *******, she signed and agreed to all sales being final and then scheduled her first series of treatments on all areas on 6/27/22, 6/29/22, and 7/20/22. On 6/27/22 one of our Regional Sales Manager's (RSM) was informed that Ms. ******* wanted to cancel her package. Our RSM and Ms. ******* walked through options to downgrade her package or cancel. Ultimately, Ms. ******* informed the RSM that she had made a decision quickly and would like to cancel. A full refund was submitted on 6/27/22 and fully processed on 6/29/22. On 6/28/22, Milan was informed that Ms. ******* filed a complaint with the BBB. At this time, her complaint had already been handled by the RSM. However, as a courtesy follow up, our RSM reached out to Ms. ******* to ensure she was still happy with her decision and reminded Ms. ******* of the free treatment she was still able to use. Ms. ******* was thankful and appreciated the follow up. To recap, Ms. ******* purchased our services on 6/25/22 and Milan submitted a full refund on 6/27/22. I scheduled a free consultation on 5/31/2022 to just get information about laser hair removal. The lady told me if I signed up today I would get a better discount than employees, and she could get me into a "free" trial session the same day if I signed up. She ************* insisted I only had that day to make the decision and sign up. I felt a lot of pressure, uncomfortable, and anytime I would give a reason I'd think about it she would come up with something else. I haven't had any other sessions other than the free trial one. On 6/16/22 the client's next appointment scheduled for 7/8/22 was canceled by the client. On 6/21/22 I received a complaint from the BBB stating that client wished to cancel her package and had only received one treatment which she was willing to pay for. I contacted the client and spoke with her about her desire to cancel her package. I agreed to refund her package in the amount of $*******. I went in for a free consultation about laser hair removal in the ************ location. During the consultation a mini presentation was given. After the presentation me and my mother asked if we could pay using our own form of payment. We were then told that they "must" do a soft pull on our credit. Even if we wanted to use a card they had to see the pre approval for credit lines. Since it was a soft pull we agreed. Before I even knew it I was signing a sales agreement. I would like to mention I never received any treatment before or after this consultation from Milan. We scheduled our appointments for the next week. Before the appointment date I had a doctors appointment where I was advised by my Primary that laser might not be the best option for me at the current time. I called the original location where I filled the paperwork and told them I no longer was interested in the service and would like to cancel my contract. Specifically I thought the issue would be an easy fix because again I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY SERVICE FROM MILAN. However I was tossed around to 3 different people about "if" I would receive a refund. After this I called the loan company **** who handled the financing for the loan. I made them aware of the fact that I received zero services from this business and I would like my loan removed. Since then I was told by Milans team at the location I went to that I had to wait for a manager to call because without her approval I wouldn't be able to cancel the contract. Even though I had NOTHING done and my scheduled treatments weren't even in the same week of me signing the agreement. I would also like to mention, no where in the contract I signed did it specify final sales. Also in the contract there was no cancellation policy.Business response

Pricing and monhtly payment options are presented to include a monthly installment loan option and a Pay in Full option. Client choose our 3rd party lender option, allowing her to pay off her loan over 36 months. This is an installment loan. There was a signature for the installment loan and a signature payment agreement both outlining all the terms and conditions of the loan. Client then booked her first treatment for 6/9/2022. After leaving, the client then decided to not move forward and called the lender and the clinic. The Clinic Manager asked if the client wanted to make changes to her package, based on her Dr appt and what areas she can still treat, knowing that she was interested in the process. The client declined and the Clinic Manager followed the refund process for ending a contract and payment agreement. The client was given a full refund in a timely manner. Client had consult on 6/3 and a refund was issued, based on her decision to not move forward, on 6/14. On May 16th, 2022 I went in for a free consultation and was talked into a package for $*** a month for 24 months. While the staff were very nice, I definitely felt pressured into the package as everything revolved around how amazing everything was going to be. **************************************************************************** I reached out to cancel my plan that I wasn't sure on to begin with, and was told there was nothing they could do and I just had to deal with it. I recently went to Milan Laser hair removal for a free consultation on 4/25/22 and was pressured into getting multiple areas done while they have a promotion going on. I signed some documents on the tablet they had to see what I'd qualify for. They said the copies of these documents would be sent to my email. When I got home and checked my email, everything BUT the contract was sent to me. I didn't know what the cancellation policy was. They NEVER discussed anything about what it would look like if I wanted to change my mind or cancel services. I even searched high and low on the website about canceling services and nothing is there either. I wanted to cancel before my first appointment but they booked it for the very next day after I signed up (4/26/22) so I didn't have any time to research my options. I called afterwards to cancel and was told the manager wasn't there and I talked to her today 5/7/22 before my second appointment was scheduled to see if I could just cancel part of the areas I'm getting done and was told absolutely not. They're supposed to be sending over an email of my contract now after I had to request it. It's very shady and I feel scammed!Business response
