On March 8, 2022 the business entered into a proposed settlement order with the United States Federal Trade Commission. The settlement resolves allegations that the business used bogus earnings claims to trick consumers into signing up for services and then trapped them into hard-to-cancel subscription plans with costly charges. Under terms of the settlement, the business agreed to pay $2.425 million, end the earnings deception, get affirmative approval from consumers for subscription sign ups, and provide them with a simple method to cancel recurring charges. On December 20, 2021 the business entered into a Consent Order with the New Hampshire Bureau of
Securities Regulation. The Consent Order settles allegations that the business made potentially misleading statements to consumers in
connection with its advertising as well as potentially acting as an investment advisor
without being licensed by the New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation. Under terms of the Order, the business has agreed to cease and desist
from violating N.H. Securities Law, and will change their platform accordingly to avoid
future violations. The business has refunded $696,621 to New Hampshire residents and an additional $102,024 is being refunded to a number of subscribers in various states over the next 60 days. Additionally, Raging Bull has also agreed to pay a fine to the New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation in the amount of $675,000.
