My mom paid for my wedding dress to be cleaned and boxed up for me a few months after my wedding by this company. My initial contact from them was an email letting me know it would take 2-10 weeks to complete and that I’d get an email when it was ready to be shipped to track. I received the tracking email after multiple weeks with a delivery date on a date during two weeks where my husband I were going to be out of town due to the military, but the dress requires an adult signature and can’t be left on a porch in the elements. So now it’s going to sit at UPS for over a week. The customer service was rude and told me I should have told them back when they sent me the 2-10 weeks email to ship it to a different address if I didn’t think I’d be home, which is highly unreasonable for me to have done given I have no other addresses or places to send it, and there was no way for me to know how long it would take to arrive in the 2-10 weeks. It’s also unreasonable for me to lay out all of my personal plans with them all summer at the outset like that. I told them they should have picked up the phone or sent advance notice the cleaning was done and it was about to be shipped which would have been a good business practice to avoid this situation, but they basically told me that’s too much effort due to the volume they handle and that it’s my fault. Would not recommend.
