Back in October my original bank was bought out by another and they did a Mass business transfer with all of their customers. I reached out to Brigit customer service to get assistance with cash borrowed as well as trying to pay back. Sterling and ****** both were rude and not helpful. I got everything resolved on my own and paid my account in full. On 10/29 when my account was paid and the service fee was taken out for that month, I requested my account to be closed out and deleted which was confirmed by ****** via email. On Nov 29th I was charged yet again another **** for the monthly subscription. When I emailed on 12/3 and requested the account info since it was supposed to be closed back in October and a refund for the Nov transaction....I was informed again by ****** that he would be closing my account but I was not eligible for a refund. When I responded asking why no refund...there still has been no response. I am asking for my payment of **** back. I have already cancelled my services twice now. Once back in Oct and now again in December. I should not have been charged.

We apologize for any confusion this user has experienced. She has signed up for our Plus plan, which is $9.99/month, on 3/3/20, and did not cancel until November 2020. As our fee covers the previous 30 days of usage, she is not eligible for any refunds from Brigit. With a deleted account, she is not being charged going forward.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because I requested this account to be closed on 10/29 and was assured of just that. I understand being charged for the previous 30 days, however, if I cancelled and closed my account with ****** on 10/29/2021 I should have never been charged at all in November

The company is not responding. They are merely copying and pasting the original response. They are not acknowledging that Sterling and ****** both assured me my account would be closed back on October 29,2021. Sterling even told me to stop contacting the because they had other customers they needed to assist and they assured me that my account was closed. I am asking for the **** to be refunded due to the false assurance that they closed my account on 10-29-2021. There should have been no charge for Nov. 2021. Why won't you just refund my money. You did not have permission to take those funds. My account was closed 10-29-2021
