My wife and I agreed to pay fees for our daughter (*****) other student costs (estimated) in the amount of $5079 as outlined in the **** Tuition & Fees Acupuncture cost sheet, attached below.
***** started classes in October 2023 and we began making monthly payments of $638.77 to cover the cost. The school is now saying textbooks are additional and were NOT included in the agreed upon amount. We say all her textbooks, laptop, supplies, uniform, medical exam, Hepatitis B vac, clean needle technique exam and verification, NCCAOM exams and fees listed in the $5079.00, as agreed unless there was a cost increase.
As we have no breakdown of what the additional costs are for, were not inclined to want to pay.
Last week ***** was given an additional invoice for $697.84 by Financial Aid clerk "*************************" with no explanation other than due by July 3rd for text books or she would be discharged from school.
We feel they are taking advantage of us, upsetting ***** and threatening to discharge her from school. ***** has tried to resolve this issue and asked that we call the school, however, the financial aid person (*************************) indicated she wont take phone calls and will only respond to email.
We would like an itemized list and explanation as to exactly what went up and how they missed their estimate so far and are we to expect additional non covered fees in the future?
