      I purchased over $300 worth of Scotts Miracle Gro Organic potting soil from ******. Over the past few weeks I found white mold and have to throw out at least 10 bags and over 20 of my plants. I contacted Scotts today and they gave me a claim number and advised me to mail my original receipts for a refund. Why would I keep original receipts or UPC's from the bag for soil that has been used already. I have copies but seems is not accepted. Please help get this resolved for the 16 bags that I was able to get copies of the receipts. Thank you, *****

      Did you make all the purchases at ******? If you did, they should be able to give you a print out that shows all the purchases. We will be able to tell if it is from ****** and we will send you a refund. You will need to mail it to us though.

      I accept the business's response to resolve this complaint.  I mailed in the receipts on Saturday.  If this is not resolved I will be opening this back up.

      Last year during the fall season I applied ,following the rate and weather conditions as instructed on their package, Lawn fertilizer by Scotts Company to my 10.000 sq ft lawn. It started dying and now 5months later the grass is gone and I just have a brown area around my house. I contacted the Scotts Co.at the end of March 2022 regarding this issue, but after quite a few emails, pictures, lawn repair estimates, etc. they haven't offered any solution different than possibly refunding the paid price of the fertilizer. Repairing my lawn will cost me thousands of dollars according to the estimates, but looks like Scotts Co just want to keep playing with their customers not taking any responsibility for the bad and harmful products they're selling

        Yesterday I got in the mail a check on the amount of $157.98 from Scotts as a REFUND.

      Are they expecting to pay just this ridiculous amount after I have had spent thousands of dollars repairing the damaged lawn caused by their products? It’s a total JOKE.

      Claim Number ********. I contacted Miracle-Gro by phone because there was trash and debris in the soil that I bought. (It also had grubs, which I never told them...but it is what it is). Because they have a 100% guarantee, they approved me for a return and asked me to send my original receipt to them. They told me I could not email it, but it had to be the original receipt and they gave me a claim number. They also asked me whether I would like an ****** gift card or a check. They said ****** gift card is an e-giftcard to my email address on record so it is faster so I said that is fine. They gave me Claim Number ********. Thank goodness I made a copy because they have not sent me a check or the e-gift card. I sent it in on 11/3/21 and still have not seen anything. Please assist me and get them to send me the agreed-upon gift card via Email as they said they would.

      Hi there.  I am a little confused because they had told me that they would send me an ********** ** ******, so I made sure to reiterate that in my letter when I sent my original receipt to them.  I would prefer having the E-giftcard sent to ******************* so I can see this matter to resolution rather than wait for a check that may not come.  Please issue me the e-giftcard as discussed and offered.  My email address is *******************

      I have been buying Scott’s products for many years to treat my lawn and garden etc and have been very happy . However, I was very unhappy with a product called “Rapid Grass”. This grass seed was the most expense grass seed I have ever purchased at $79.95. But it stated ON THE PACKAGE that if you were not 100% satisfied Scott’s had a “no hassle” money back guarantee if you sent in your receipt. I purchased this product at the end of summer 2021 and put it down, kept it watered etc. I truly expected a lot better from this grass seed seeing that it was 10 times the price of what I would normally buy , but I really wanted nice and rapid grass (like it promised.) After several weeks, I can see very little growth and nothing close to what was promised so I cut out the portion of the bag stating the “no hassle guarantee” and mailed it along with my receipt and a short letter explaining.. I never received my money back, and not even a letter, phone call, or email. Very disappointed with Scott’s.
