      We originally had service with Stanley Security at a Commercial Building we owned. We sold the building in Dec 2021 at which time we canceled the service. The company is now Securitas Technology which continues to send us invoices. Repeated requests to cancel the service and discontinue the invoicing have gone unanswered. Repeated requests for a copy of the service agreement have gone unanswered.

      They did answer only one time each and man name *****, and a woman named *****. I have tried to call again, but no one has answered the numbers they have given me . The woman ***** told me that ***** was to call me Wednesday or Thursday of last week to correct the problem that I have been having with the company, but he did not call either of those days, and has not called. The last bill I got from them, their address is out of Fishers, IN, ******************

      I have cancelled 4 accounts with Securitas for fire monitoring services (Buildings 3, 4, 8, 9). Two of these accounts have been outstanding for almost a year (Bldg. 8 & 9). On 8/8/23 I requested the cancellation of 2 accounts (Bldg. 8 & 9) on 10/8/23, which complies with their rules. 1 account has been cancelled and the other has not. I have emailed the account manager many many times but have not even received a reply back acknowledging they have received my email or any solution to the problem. Since I do not know the cancellation date of services I have not paid an invoice. 1 other account (bldg. 4) that I thought were closed, is not as I received a phone call regarding that building in the past week. This leads me to think that the last account (Bldg. 3) is not cancelled either. This issue has lasted over a year at this point and I believe that it should not be the case. Since I haven't heard back regarding bldg. 8 & 9 I have not brought up building 4 issues.

      Sales man came to my door convinced me there system was better than Telus even new when my contract was up said theirs was cheaper and being a widow on a widow on in pension I said ok was set up in two hours by that night I had time to think and sent an email cancelling been fighting for 4 months sent everything to them by registered mail have not heard anything my daughter tried helping but did not answer her calls or emails I also told them I could not open the pdf file that had the contract by time I got it it was to late to fill the cancellation form and send by registered mail can I cancel there payments when they start in December I am still paying Telus till then when theirs starts it’s 10.00 more I saved copies of what I sent the company if you would like them sincerely ****** *******

      I have been trying to cancel my service with Securitas Technology since July 15th, 2024. I e-mailed on July 15th, I received a response on July 26th, said someone was going to contact me, never did. I called again, they don t answer !! Then as I am dismantling my alarm system, they call wondering what was happening. I then explained that my service was cancelled on July 15th for August 1st. They had no record of it ! Wow ! no communication. I then call again a few days later and got someone (Operator ***) who actually gives me a name ****** ***** and says she received my case on September 3rd !! Are you kidding me ! 1 month and a half later ? He then gives me the e-mail address ************************** to contact and I ve been trying to e-mail since September 9th with yet again no response. In the meantime I receive another bill for September ?? I call again and again nobody answers ! I want my refund !!! I started with Stanley Security which had great Customer Service to now this....Securitas. All I want to do is cancel so I can move on.

       I am rejecting this response because:  No one ever contacted me or responded to my e-mails.  Finally after 3 months, this issue was resolved just this morning.  I called again this morning, seeing I received again another bill for the month of October, which the service was cancelled on August 1st, 2024.   *********** **** was nice enough to do the cancellation on the phone with me without having someone call me back or e-mail me.   I was satisfied with ***********, but not with Securitas Technology as I have had a bad experience with this Company since trying to cancel on July 15th, 2024.

      My home security contract (originally through ******* security who were bought out by Securitas) expired in early 2024. I decided to cancel my account with ********************** due to high monthly fees and poor customer service. On August 22nd I phoned ********************** to cancel my services and after waiting on hold for almost 30 minutes was told by the representative (*******) that no one was working in the cancellation department. I asked to speak to a supervisor because I wanted to cancel my services immediately, he gave me an extension number I had to call to speak to a manager (extension ****). After another 30 minutes on hold I got through and was told by this person that he was not a manager, that the cancellation department was not available but he would send my contact information to a supervisor and someone would contact me before the end of the business day. No one ever called me back. Later that day I sent an email to Securitas ******************************** informing them that I was cancelling my services effective August 22nd and explaining that I had called them that day as well. Since August 22nd I have sent a further 5 emails and have not gotten a single *********** security system was uninstalled on August 23rd, but they sent me a bill of $56.09 for the period of August 25th to September 25th. I want someone from the company to allow me to cancel my services. I am not under contract and have not used/accessed their system since August 22nd.

      Their response states that they are submitting my complaint to the Canadian business team. 
      I called and emailed them on August 22nd and have had no response from them since then, so them submitting a complaint when I have been waiting almost a month for a response already does not resolve my issue.

      I have been trying to cancel my service with Securitas Technology for over two weeks. No response from phone calls, emails, etc. I am a seninor citizen and do not want to keep paying for securiy monitoring when my system is not even workin. No contract as I am residential customer that was grandfathered in . Started with Honeywell sold to Stanley Security and now Securitas. All I want to do is cancel so I can move on. What is wrong with this place? They need to be shut down!

      I have been trying to cancel my contract with Securitas Technology now for 3 months and not only have I not received confirmation, but they also keep sending me bills. I have filled out their online form, i sent them a letter via mail, and i have tried to call (without getting past being on hold). Can you please help me to get their service cancelled? Their monthly bill is approximately $70/month

       I am rejecting this response because: Although Securitas very promptly sent me an email telling me they would handle this, nothing has happened. Their message asked me which address we wanted to cancel (we have their services at two addresses) and I told them that I wanted to cancel both and to please send me a closing statement so that I would know how much I owe in order to complete the cancellation. I never received any response - and, since that time, have received calls from their alarm center telling me that our alarm is offline (because I unplugged it). I would like to have this company close our account and send me a verification that it is closed.

      We changed our home security monitoring to a new company. After several attempts we have been unable to cancel our previous monitoring company by phone, mail and email. For over 3 months we have been trying to get Securitas to cancel our service. Their monitoring equipment is no longer in use at our residence, and we believe it was not being monitored for a long time. The new company told us there was no way that it was being monitored since it was so outdated and we were paying over 30.00 per month. We keep getting bills from Securitas and they do not respond to emails. Their phone number has a recorded message that the wait times are in hours.

      We requested termination of services via the online termination link on April 11th 2024. We have since had another company take over both security services for our school--putting in a new system. We are continuing to receive bills from Securitas for a service that is no longer active at our school and we also receive emergent calls from Securitas about one of our emergency contact buttons not being online. We have e-mailed, called, etc attempting to resolve this issue since April, but no one has responded.
