Affordable Decks ***************** built my deck and roof less than a year ago. his subs decided to build the roof too low, lower than what the drawing specified. I informed **** they wanted to do so he said he would be out the next day to go over everything s we are all on same page. Never happened. He put support beams in I knew it was too low told ************* came next day said it was fine, it wasn't. After getting our money he was hard to get to come to house. Before he was great and attentive. He refused to fix roof to accommodate my door they knew I was getting. I have all the correspondences. ***** and ***** left my yard a wreck. Tons of cigarettes and drink bottles we had to keep cleaning up they left under the deck a mess mounds and rocks, bad drainage water gathering. Me and my son did the cleanup. They ruined my gutters tried caulking them still spraying. Railing is sloppy and not put on right same with fascia, ceiling sagging and soffit sagging. **** refuses to fix it and is trying to extort $2600 for unknown costs he says we cost him for design change. only person who did that was ***** who took it upon himself to change the design without talking to ****. Railing is shoddy drink rail not installed right fascia is sloppy and ugly. not installed right according to Timber Tech. ***** and ***** smoked nonstop, ***** drank on the job. Just a total nightmare. Spoke to 2 other deck builders to see if they can help me and they both have had to rip down Affordable deck projects and re-do them. I want my money back to have these issues fixed and done right.
