June 16th Traded in my 2014 Chevy Impala LTZ for a 2014 Model S Tesla On my way to the dealership my wife made not of water damage in the listing photos so upon arrival I asked the sales rep. Bailey if this had been fixed and was told yes. I was then told she would have her service people check to make sure the seal had been fixed as well. I was once again told yes by them. I trusted what they told me and signed with no problems. The very next day it rained and when I got in my car everything on the driver side ceiling was soaked. I then called the dealership GM Brandon who told me he would talk to "The powers that be" about what he can do and I didn't hear anything back from him for two weeks at which point I called another sales manager (I believe his name was Kyle) who told me since there is no documentation on their end that this happened nothing can be done. There is no documentation because they lied to me otherwise I would not have signed for the car with an issue like that.

We have offered to take care of this issue and the bill from Tesla will be paid by us.  The appointment is scheduled for the 15th.

I bought a 2018 Audi from them in June, there were no bad reports and they did not disclose anything being wrong with the car to me. The engine light came on within 4 days of having the car in my possession. Their dealership can’t service Audis so they had me take it over to Audi and after taking a look at my car, Audi’s service guy said they never should have sold me this car because there is major frame damage underneath and it is considered unsafe to drive. I have a video sent to me from Audi of everything that is wrong with my car and why it is not safe to drive. Audi can’t even fix it. The reason the engine light came on has nothing to do with the frame damage so they were able to turn the engine light off, but I was told by mtn view that they can’t promise it won’t come back on but there’s nothing they can do about it. They are expecting me to just keep the car and continue driving (with my 4 month old son in the backseat!) even though the service guy has made it very clear it is a safety concern. When I bought this car I was not told about any of these issues. I’m sure that mtn view did not know about these issues at the time of selling it to me, but it is THEIR job to find this stuff out before selling it. I would like to return this car. I really don’t want to ever purchase from them again, but I would be willing to get a different car off of their lot if they will just take my unsafe car back that they never should have sold to me, or anyone. Here is a link to the video from Audi explaining everything that is damaged with my car: **********************************************************************  This video was taken 13 days after having the car in my possession.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

They tried to say that they “fixed” the issue, but after taking it to a professional we were told that there is still a slight alignment issue due to the car being wrecked and there being two different sets of tires on the car (another issue on the vehicle that was never discussed with me before I purchased the vehicle). They wanted me to sign a legal document stating that they fixed the issue but I refused to sign it because the issue was not completely fixed. They said if I don’t sign the piece of paper that they’re not giving me my car back, and that I have 2 options: I can sign their paper that states they fixed the issue or I can unwind the deal. Of course I chose to unwind the deal because I want nothing more. They agreed to take my car back but owe me a check of $1200 for my down payment and $5136 for the car we traded in but now I can’t get a response from anyone on when they’re giving me my check. So now I don’t have possession of the car that is technically still in my name OR my money back. They have agreed to take the car back in front of me and two other witnesses so I just need the check.

      Sincerely,

      ******* *******

On May 13th I bought a 2020 Ford Edge SEL, AWD from mtn view 153. For 35,748.12. Carfax reported 2 maintenance actions previous. These were issues with all wheel drive (replaced axle) repaired ********* **** ** ***** *** Unsure of ownership at time. It shows work done in ***** then mtn view, then in his again. My issue is unreported accident. Maybe a week or so after purchasing vehicle it "lurched" on me. I thought possible bad gas? But the issue arose again. I called mtn view. They said they could look at it for 2 months. Although still under warranty and accident was not discovered yet. Then June 23 it became undriveable. I had an appointment with ****** Ford on July 1 for service. But had vehicle towed on 23. It was discovered that there was a crushed module in the bottom of the vehicle. Someone had "fixed" wiring underneath. And at a certain angle you can see that the rear driver panel is not original, has creases in it. Mtn view informed me they did an inspection pre-sale. No defects found. Either they did not do any inspection or they did and whitewashed the report. This damage is not covered under warranty according to ****** Ford. I would like mtn view to step up and cover the repair for the issues they reported were not there.

      Business response

      07/07/2022

At this time.  We do not feel any responsibility for this complaint.  The carfax is clean, and was inspected downtown at Mtn View Ford.  We have a copy of inspection showing no issues with under the vehicle and are not responsible for anything after the sale that may have occurred.

I am rejecting this response because: I will be receiving pictures shortly of the damage. If they have pictures showing no damage or incorrect wiring I would like to see that. However since I have done no service before the recent incident that would be false information. ****** Ford had to rewire the underneath where cables were not attached proper points. And there is a visibly damaged driveline module that has to be replaced. When I receive the pics I will upload them.
      Sincerely,

Again, we can't help what was done after the vehicle left us.  The inspection showed no issues when we had it so there would be no reason to document something that wasn't there.

I bought a truck 2 months ago and it’s been in the shop 3 times since I’ve had it now. I’ve had to fight with them about getting a courtesy vehicle every time. My truck is in the shop now because it was over heating just like the other 2 times. They said that my truck was under warranty and shouldn’t worry about anything. They called me this morning and told me that they had to take the head off to inspect it and if it was a warped head then it would not be covered under my warranty and would have to pay $3500 out of pocket and if it was a blown head gasket it would be covered.

      Business response

At this time, there is nothing we can do.  We need the vehicle to be inspected to see if warranty is going to cover it.  We have put him in a loaner vehicle every time he's been here.  We need to tear the vehicle down to see if this is a covered item, we will make sure to do everything in our power to get it covered but without looking at it there is nothing we can do.

I traded in my 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 on January 17 2022 for a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 BigHorn luxury. I did not pick up this vehicle for about 3 days after purchase and received my temp tags and keys. A few days shy of three months later I have not received my tag paperwork. I have made several calls to try to ascertain the status of my tag, only to finally have the situation explained on 4/20 2022. They say the title had some kind of lien on it and the appropriate funds have already been exchanged to obtain the title, but the bank is withholding the title for unknown reasons, allegedly. The truck was received on trade to them, which let's me know they were never in possession of the title when selling the vehicle. I have received no definitive information on a resolution for this matter and aside from the legal ambiguity, the general frustration of dealing with this has caused me stress and mental anguish. They have asked me to wait another 2 weeks but also added, "if you don't hear from us, we don't have an update." I am seeking a refund or exchange of vehicle for one they are in legal possession of the title for. I am also filing complaints with the AG, and the Tennessee Department of Motor Vehicle Commission. I hope this can be resolved appropriately.

We have contacted ******* *** Auto Finance several times 1/14/22,3/23/22,4/15/22,4/18/22,and 4/20/22 trying to get them to release the lien (in which we paid in full 1/11/22) by electronic release through the state of Georgia. Each time we call they say it has been done and to give it 2 weeks to get the title. We called yesterday 4/20/22 and they said it would be released 4/20/22 and we should receive it within the next seven days. I personally contacted Mr. **** today and explained to him the sequence of events that has lead up to this problem. We are diligently trying to get this title and totally understand Mr. ****'s concern. As you can see from the attachment, we paid it off in full on January 11th and I also attached where it came out of our bank on that day as well. We seem to be at the mercy of ******* ***'s cooperation feel free to call many with more required information 423-763-0304.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/21) */ We offered to split the cost of a transmission with the customer. They have put over 1,000 miles on this vehicle and the trans is now out. At this time we have offered what we feel is more than fair. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/01/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They are not being honest if they were I wouldn't be doing this in the first place I didn't even drive the car off the lot when I put my money down. If you can go look at their reviews you can see I'm not the 1st person they have done like this. This isn't fair it's no way I put over 1,000 miles on that car when it's been in the shop from day one then the shop keeps it for 3-4 weeks at a time me as well as my mother Would call daily to the mechanics and half of the time they didn't answer when the car finally got ready to b picked up it went in with a full tank of gas to come come out on EMPTY. This car has been in the shop since the purchase. Please go read the reviews on the page so your will see I'm not lying please. They took full advantage of me and that's not rite Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/01/21) */ I forgot to mention it was the axel that had broken so how did it go from the axel to the transmission???? DISHONEST AT ITS FINEST Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2022/01/24) */ We replaced the axles free of charge in good faith. After that point we determined that it was indeed an internal transmission issue, and not the axles. Consumer Response /* (3000, 15, 2022/02/02) */ They still have not replied back I World like to resolve this matter by then removing this car off of my credit report and close the deal at this point they can keep the money. Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2022/02/04) */ We responded back and offered to pay for 1/2 of the transmission. We would still extend this offer but this is all we are willing to do. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I DO NOT WANT THE CAR JUST CLOSE THE DEAL AND REMOVE IT FROM MY CREDIT
