I request the BBB's assistance in mediating this matter to ensure the immediate removal of this unauthorized account from my credit records.       My loan has been paid up to date, and my last payment was made on 09/23/24. Now, when I try to log on to the website, the website says my account does not have online access. This is frustrating and annoying as I use the online system to make payments, view my balance, and view documents.

      I am rejecting this response because:  the response does not even attempt to help my fix my issue or complaint. I was told to call the customer service number and which customer service couldn't resolve my issue. I was told my account wasn't eligible to online access. I was told they couldn't do anything else. I haven't even received a paper bill from Exeter finance since not being able to login to my online account.

      I am writing to file a complaint regarding the actions they did by reporting inaccurate account to the credit bureaus. I discovered that they reported inaccurate information on my credit report. Despite my attempts to resolve this issue, they have failed to correct the inaccuracies and they have not taken appropriate action to rectify the situation.I request that you intervene to ensure that this Furnisher/Debt Collector corrects the inaccurate information on my credit report and ceases any further reporting of this erroneous data. Additionally, I seek compensation for any damages caused by their negligence and non-compliance with federal regulations.

      I purchased a vehicle in 2017 I have been paying for 6 years a crazy intrest rate .I fell behind on my payments a few times and I called customer service and they gave me a extention a few times they never stated that I would have to pay all that money back in one lump sum at the end of the loan .now my loan matured and they want 5000 in one lump sum and I dont have it .they won't work with me at all they are now threatening me with a repo .I was told that my loan was going to be extended for those payments I was never told it was going to be due at once .they are also charging me crazy fees it is not supist to be over 5000 this is horrible what this company does to people I have read so many of the same horror stories it's just not right

      The paper bill notes the outstanding balance is not the payoff amount, we always thought we could pay it off one day, the principal when we got the money, we got the money and theyre telling us our payoff quote is HIGHER than the outstanding balance. They will not work with us and do not empathize, they shut me down and refer me to their FAQ page.

      This auto finance company approved me for a car with my mom as a co-signer at ********** ***************** in ******, **. I was not asked for any documents on day one but I was approved and signed my contract and drove my car home. It is now 31 days later and Exeter says they still cannot verify my employment and income. They finally asked me today to send in my bank statement. I spoke to 3 people on the phone today and they were all foreigners whom I could not understand. They were rude and did not know what to do or say. They did not give me detailed information. I was told by text from the sales associate who was rude, that she still had not gotten her pay yet from the sale of the car. I was told once that I could turn this car in and get my old car back. And today I was told that if I did not have my income and employment verified then I will have to start this finance process all over again. This is disappointing, and unprofessional. I gave them the fax number for Centurion and told them I'd try to reach out to corporate as this is a corporate issue. My contract was already signed and I've had the car for 31 days. This treatment is not fair and disgusting.

      I have been having employement is***s over the last 3 years even had the car repossed and had a lot of extensions however lately ive gotten my act together and getting my finances right, I have gotten my car note caught up and exter is hitting me with late fees of ***** everytime and my car note is 6***** i finally got caught up and was thinking finally im good then all of a sudden i see a 325 pending bill plus my carnote for sept. 30 for a total of ******, it seems like they keep charging my interest and late fees and it seems like ill never get back on track. plus they are not updating my credit report as they should sincde i am now getting my payments on time. this company is highway robbery and need to be *** and stop for how they charge. It seems like ill never get out of this debt because they keep charging late fees and if this continues i will volunteer to give this car up to them and let them have it because im already paying ****** for a ****** car due to my credit and that should be illegal. either they fix all those late fees or they can come get this car, i can not continue to pay notes so high ill risk my chance with a self volunteered repo versus allowing this company to **** me dry financially.

      I opened a loan with this finance company for my car over a year ago. I am making astronomical payments every single month and my account balance keeps going up and I have paid over $10,000 and now it is higher than when I got the loan out for my car. I just made a payment yesterday and they took another $335 and did not apply it to my loan. Im not sure how this is even possible when every time I call customer service to ask why my loan balance is not going down they say its because of the daily interest on the balance. I have had a lot of loans on vehicles throughout the years and I have never been screwed over this bad. I am actively working to get the car balance down so I can get away from them. Please if I can advise anybody do not use them even if they are the last resort. They tack on ungodly fees and when you pay them, they do not deduct them off of your balance due. They just keep your money and dont apply it to any balance. This should be some type of fraud and I will be following up again with the company. This is the biggest scam I have ever seen in my life and they should be shut down. I just made a payment of $1035 and they did not apply it to my account at all. They applied $700 and the rest of it is completely gone not showing that it was applied. This is wrong and there is no way with paying this much money over the last year that my balance should be higher than when I actually got my car when Ive paid $10,000 towards my car. as you can see my statement balance on September 5 is $1800. I made a payment yesterday of $1035 and its still showing I have a balance due of $1135 so where did the other $335 go? Are you just gonna keep keeping the extra? It doesnt even make logical sense in this happens on a monthly basis. You guys are the biggest scam artist out there
