            We put a down payment of $8,300 on 9/3/21 to have a chain link fence and deck put in (total expect cost $16,600. After not hearing from The contractor; *********************** for a couple of months, he finally responded to us that he was having issues getting the deck permit from the city of ******. Every time we checked in with him, he either wouldnt respond or would say he would be out in the next week or so. Then he completely stopped responding. When I finally texted and left him a voice mail that we were filing a complaint with the BBB and were getting a lawyer, he finally responded saying he had a bunch of personal issues and had basically stopped responding to his clients. He sent me text photos showing the City of ****** and that he promised he was coming out to get started on the work. A month later, he still has done nothing. I left him a voicemail and text that we wanted a full refund and if I didnt hear from him by 2/14/22, I was filing a complaint. He never responded and he has done no work what-so-ever at our house.

            Trevor M**** is a thief - plain and simple. I gave him over 13 thousand dollars for materials and he took off with my money. Didn’t buy the material or perform the work. Stay away from this scam artist!

            ADDED 5/16/22: Update. Trevor texted me that if I would accept $10,000 in refund, which was minus $3100 for labor he did including removing all of my old deck material and left me with no way to get to my back yard since October of 2021, when after dozens of attempts to contact him, he agreed to send a Certified check for $10,000 on 3/25/2022 and he said it went out Certified Mail the day before, I still have not received one dollar from this crook. Spread the word if you live in Eau Claire Wisconsin, please do not patronize Trevor M**** i.e. TM Builders LLC.
