On 01/10/2023 I received a voicemail from a *************************** at Champion Strategy Holdings claiming I owed a debt of of over $1400 from a loan taken out in 2017 from a company call EZ Cash. I tried to explain that I never took out a loan ever. The representative I spoke with was hostile. She yelled at me, refused to give me anything other than the name of the company and the amount and then tried to lecture me on how irresponsible I was by ignoring the debt.... when I told her I never took out a loan ever she stated "we're past that. the time to dispute the debt is over, I'll report back to the company that you are refusing to pay and they will have you served". I was threatened with being taken to court all the while refusing to give me any type of documentation or verification. After being hung up on multiple times I called the corporate office for EZ Cash and they have no record of me ever applying for or receiving a loan. Furthermore they stated they do not use collection agencies and have no affiliation with Champion Strategy Holdings. Upon researching the company it is listed as a scam company.

On 09/21/23, I received a call from ************ and a recording states, "This is *************************** from Champion Strategy Holdings. It gives me the opportunity to press 1 to speak with a mediator and goes on to say that a recommendation needs to be sent to my County Processor. It also states that if I ignore the call, it will be a noted and is a forfeiture of my rights." On 11/13/23 I recieved the same call as noted by a recording. On 11/15/23 I sent a letter asking for debt verification and for the collector to cease phone calls. I again recieved the same recording again on 12/13/23

They called trying to collect on a debt that had been discharged in bankruptcy, basically saying that don't have to follow bankruptcy laws.

I was contacted today but Champion Strategy Holdings about a debt that has not been paid for 5 years. I could not recall the debt and asked several times for the name of the original creditor. I was advised it was cashweb usa. I requested information to validate the debt but they advised the creditor attempted all forms of contact but were unable to get ahold of me. I told them I found it odd because I received a phone call to my current phone number but they had an old number on file. As well as my current address but my address was different in 2018 I brought all these issues to their attention but they ignored it and began threatening me with court if it was not settled. Because I have a government job that conducts through background and credit checks I went ahead and made a payment which I see now was not a smart decision. I have attempted several times to search the original creditor and there's no website or business with that company name. I have gotten in contact with my bank to attempt to dispute the transaction and looking for legal counsel at this time in hopes of verifying if this is a debt I do owe or not as it is not on my credit. I also received a receipt and a document showing the debt. However the debt was for another individual and information was redacted. I do not understand why this would be if it was a legitimate company. The phone number that called me was ************ with the gentleman starting his direct number to be ************ which ridiculously enough is to a health insurance marketplace. Something needs to be done.

Keeps calling, looking for ***************************, telling them they have the wrong number, and they hang up on me 15 times in one month. I called back today, and they were rude, saying they don't have to remove my number, and when asked what company, they refused to provide any information or remove it and began telling me they would *** me if I called again.

This company frequently robocalls. The name they present does not belong to anyone working here. I've told them to stop calling and asked that they remove the number from their database. The person becomes rude and belligerent and nasty. We have had enough of this company taking up important resources and taking away from the daily production of this business by having to answer their frequent phone calls. They have been asked nicely to remove the phone number. Now, I am filing a complaint. Please help.
